The Affect Heuristic tour dates

The Affect Heuristic are an international melodic hardcore act ready to take the European skate-punk scene by storm. Taking influence from a diverse range of sources, ranging from classic EpiFat acts to their friends’ bands, from tech metal and pop punk, they have created a unique sound that’s as heavy as it catchy.

Having set out to make band practice as difficult as possible, the band features two Scottish members and three Belgian members, so expect to see them gigging around the UK and the mainland. They bring to the table a wealth of experience from previous bands, including members of A Hero Build, Terrafraid, No Contest, Fair Do’s, Dead Neck to name a few.

The Affect Heuristic released a split with German skate-punk heavyweights Money Left To Burn in February 2018, released on Lockjaw Records. If you haven’t heard it yet, you need it in your life. It’s intricate, technical melodic hardcore with a sweet twist of metal, erring more on the side of Shai Hulud or Between The Buried and Me, but maintaining all the wider appeal of Darko or F.O.D..
