Independent Venue Week Presents: Darko’s Bonsai Mammoth Bonanza Party

On the 3rd of Feb to close off 2018 Independent Venue Week at The Boileroom, Darko have curated a line up of bands that they’ve met and hung out with while touring the album across Europe.

‘A year ago we released our debut album Bonsai Mammoth, over the time of writing and releasing the album we’ve been fortunate to be a part of some amazing events and played with some fantastic bands. After the last few years experiencing the epic Manchester Punk Fest, Punk Rock Holiday and being inspired from excellent new events like Punkle Fester and Dugstock. We’ve see the punk scene go from strength-to-strength and thought it would be a fun idea to put an all-day event in Guildford, to showcase a handful of the many awesome bands we have met on the scene.’, explains Rob Piper from Darko.

From Guildford locals Wild Tales and Flesh Trench, to Actionmen from Ravenna, Italy and The Affect Heuristic from Belgium, Screech Bats and Drones from London, to PMX from Perth Scotland, Fair Do’s from Manchester, Laughing In The Face of from Birmingham and The Burnt Tapes from Greece. A real international all-dayer.

This is hopefully going to be a riff-packed day to remember!

Tickets are £15 for the day.

This gig is part of Independent Venue Week & supported by the Arts Council.
