Missed us? Come say hi to all of the Lockjaw team on the road with Chaser this week!
Rob will be storming stages with Lockjaw favourites Darko, and Sarah’s manning the wheel in Chaser’s tour van. Beginning at Polite Riot Festival at New Cross Inn (London) on Friday, the tour takes in The Netherlands and Belgium (where you can also catch Lesley, Cedric and Joelle), followed by three UK dates: Portsmouth, Manchester and Newcastle. The big highlight will be Jera On Air festival on Saturday 29th, where we’re hoping to party to Parkway Drive, Converge, Employed To Serve and Death By Stereo.
We’ll be carting the Lockjaw distro around with us, so come grab a baseball tee, a bag of coffee, a bamboo toothbrush or the new Fights & Fires Kebaptism hot sauce. We’ll even have records and CDs!
Chaser are a beacon to fans of super-energetic 90’s skate-punk, jetting all the way over from California for these few dates. Their last tour saw them jam-packing the Back 2 Basics stage tent at Groezrock festival, or you may have seen them slaying crowds at Brakrock and Punk Rock Holiday in 2018.
Darko are the UK’s answer to A Wilhelm Scream (soz Dan), ever prepared for playing hard and partying harder. They’re taking a break from heavy touring this year, so this is the perfect opportunity to get your Darko fix.
The tour was put together by the ever-excellent Steven Rawles over at Merit Based Booking And Management. Big round of applause to Steve for being an absolute legend. It’s only a short jaunt, but a great time to catch these two rad bands and come give a big Lockjaw howdy to the Lockjaw Crew.
